Starting a new Adventure

 




It has been a few years since I have blogged a trip and I only decided to do this one after my granddaughter Hailey encouraged me.

I have been retired now for 16 years and in that time I have done extensive domestic travel in the US. In fact, I have been to all 48 continental states on my Harley!

So, I am sitting in the airport in Syracuse, my flight so far having been delayed an hour.  So, it's a good time to start.

This trip, long contemplated, is taking place because of the fire at Notre Dame a couple of years ago. You see, I love churches and always said I wanted to see Notre Dame. When it burned in 2019 I was afraid I had lost my chance. So, now that it is rebuilt and refurbished, I am not going to miss the chance to visit it.

I have quite an itinerary planned, but I will not spoil the coming blogs by revealing any of it.

So, my plan is to update daily over the next couple of weeks and if you are interested, come along for the adventure.
